Let’s face it: \u00a0the food is a lot fresher, you know where it is coming from, and you can proudly say “I grew this carrot!” or “I made this salad from the\u00a0tomatoes and lettuce that I grew!” There’s a sense of happiness and pride you get from knowing that you created something, and the food is so delicious when it has been grown in a community garden, with no worries about food miles (food that has been imported and transported\u00a0from other countries and across the United States).<\/p>\n
