You get to\u00a0select what fruits and vegetables you are going to eat. It is so important to &#8220;eat healthy&#8221; in this processed food society&#8211; and the healthiest foods can come straight from your community garden! Let&#8217;s face it: \u00a0the food is a lot fresher, you know where it is coming from, and you can proudly say &#8220;I grew this carrot!&#8221; or &#8220;I made this salad from the\u00a0tomatoes and lettuce that I grew!&#8221; There&#8217;s a sense of happiness and pride you get from knowing that you created something, and the food is so delicious when it has been grown in a community garden, with no worries about food miles (food that has been imported and transported\u00a0from other countries and across the United States).<\/p>\n<p>So go out and plant some yummy carrots, peas, and strawberries!
